Baby or not a baby? That is the question.

So a whole lot has happened since I last posted. As you know I am super honest so if you don't want to know everything you may not want to read on. We didn't make it on The Biggest Loser. Not that it stopped us from losing about 25lbs each in the past 2 months. We changed our whole diet and hired a personal trainer.

During this process we decided to do the next step in trying to have a baby. Fertility treatments. So we saw a Dr. He gave me stuff to start my period because who knows how long it would have taken on It's own. Love my PCOS. Then went on a round of clomafine. Meanwhile using my clear blue easy fertility monitor so I would be ready for ovulation. Nothing that new yet. But then I had to go in for ultrasounds where they shove that huge stick up in you to see if I had a folical getting bigger. First time I went he didn't even hardly say hi before he thrust that thing in me. Was not fun and had a talk with him afterwards. Was much nicer after that but still not fun. Oh and did I mention the first time he checked there was nothing. I cried the whole way home. Second time he checked there was one. Just one. I cried the whole way home. Then the hard part came waiting for ovulation witch did not happen and I had to have the hgc shot to trigger it. Oh yeah and this was to be done at home by my husband with no supervision. He had to mix two things together and give me the shot in my butt. I askes him a million times are you sure you can you do this, knowing he had never given a shot before. He reassured me he could. So he got everything ready and tried to do it. Was going slow and painful and didn't even break the skin. Got scared I was going to move or that he was going to break the needle and stopped. Went and got our neighbour who had studied to be a nurse. Thankfully she was awesome and got it done without me even feeling it. I still can't believe we were ment to do that on our own with no training. Crazy. Ok so now the real fun part. Hubby had to go in the next day and do his part. Then I waited while they got it ready for me. Finally went in and had to be pried open I think more so then when you get a pap smear if you ask me. And then the fun pinch of the needle. After that I had to lay on the table and do the little baby prayer for what was an eternity. Finally got to go home. Of course had tons of normal activity over the next couple days. Just in case. And now I'm on my third day of what seams like forever waiting the two weeks until we know if it happened for us. Meanwhile I just started crinone gel that has a ton of side effects. One of witch is so gross that if you want to know I'll let you look it up. Again something I can thank my PCOS for. So wish us luck. We should know in about a week and a half.
